Reclaiming the magical inner child, with a line-drawn fairy flying above the title

Faerapy · inner child healing · winter 2027

from straw into gold

The hurts your younger self carried are the straw. Together, we spin them into gold.

Four in-person circles and four old fairy tales, held in a small, intimate group. We meet the young parts of you that have been waiting to be seen, give them what they missed, and bring their wonder back into your grown-up life.

The invitation

your inner child is still waiting

Somewhere along the way, the sensitive, curious child you were learned to make themselves smaller. They grew up fast, carried things that were never theirs, and found clever ways to stay safe.

Those ways kept you going. Now they may be the very things that keep you stuck: the anxious over-giving, the frozen heart, the feeling of living on crumbs.

In this circle you'll get to know those young parts with warmth, call in the protection and nurture they needed, and let the adult you are now stand beside the child you were.

The journey · four modules, four tales

every fairy tale is a map home

Each module opens with a story room, held live online and recorded, then deepens in an in-person circle.

Module one · Thumbelina

safety and meeting the inner child

Build the container together. Learn simple tools to stay grounded, find your peaceful place, and meet a young part of yourself for the first time.

Module two · Hansel and Gretel

the protector and the nurturer

Call in protector and nurturing figures, see your family's patterns in a gentle constellation, and look back at your younger self with loving eyes.

Module three · Rumpelstiltskin

shadow, fear and the adaptive child

Name what was hidden and honour the clever ways you adapted. Paced slowly and closely resourced, this is the deepest part of the journey.

Module four · The Snow Queen

integration and wholeness

Find the gifts alongside the wounds, meet your core self, and close together with the Then and Now constellation and the walk through the angels.

How it runs

a circle every fortnight

Between circles there's time to rest, join or watch the next story room, and let the work settle.

story rooms

Live on Zoom the Thursday before each circle, 7pm · 3 June, 17 June, 1 July and 8 July · the tale, teaching, a meditation and journal prompts

Joining live is optional. Every story room is recorded and added to your portal, so you can watch it whenever suits you.

How we work

gentle tools, grounded in research

Alongside the stories, we use evidence-based and evidence-informed approaches for healing developmental and attachment wounds and trauma. Each one is paced so you stay grounded and resourced.

IFS

Internal Family Systems

Getting to know the protective parts of you and the young parts they guard, led by your calm, compassionate core self.

EMDR

Including the FLASH technique

Gentle bilateral techniques that ease the charge of a hard memory, without needing to go into it in detail.

Havening

Soothing touch

Calming touch to the arms, palms and face that helps your nervous system settle a distressing memory.

Family systems

Patterns and roles

Understanding the roles, loyalties and patterns passed down through your family, and where you carried what was never yours.

Family constellations

Seeing the whole system

Group members stand in for family members or parts, so hidden dynamics can be seen, felt and gently shifted.

DBR

Deep Brain Reorienting

A slow, body-based approach to the earliest shock and attachment wounds, held before they ever became words or stories.

Active imagination

Symbolic and shadow work

Jungian and transpersonal techniques that use image, story and symbol to meet the hidden parts of you and bring them gently into the light.

Meditation

Guided inner journeys

Guided meditations and visualisations that settle the body, build inner resources and open the way to your younger self.

A safe container

deep work, held gently

a small circle

Just eight people, so everyone is seen and there's room to go at your own pace.

Payment terms · please read before applying

  • A payment plan is an agreement to pay the full fee. It spreads the cost; it doesn't reduce your commitment.
  • Once you accept your place, all payments in your plan are due, whether or not you attend every circle.
  • If you stop attending partway through, the remaining payments are still due.
  • Cancellations on the day of a circle aren't accepted, and missed circles aren't refunded.

These are foundation rates for the first circle. From the next intake they rise to $1,450 paid in full.

Questions

your questions answered

Do I need to be seeing a therapist as well?

It isn't required, but having individual support alongside a group like this is a real help. Your application asks about the support you have, so I know how best to hold you.

What if I miss a circle?

Each circle builds on the last, so please plan to come to all four. Missed circles aren't refunded, and your plan payments continue as agreed.

Will I have to share things I'm not ready to?

Never. You choose what you share and when. Much of the work happens quietly inside you, and witnessing others is part of the healing too.

How do the story rooms work?

Each story room is held live on Zoom at 7pm on the Thursday before its circle, and recorded. Joining live is optional: come along if you can, or watch the recording in your portal when it suits you. Either way, have your candle and journal from your pack nearby, and come to the circle ready to begin.

Is lunch provided?

No. We take a morning tea break and a lunch break at each circle. You're welcome to bring your own lunch and snacks, and there's a fridge at the studio to keep them in. There are also cafes a short walk away on Minerva Rd if you'd rather buy lunch. A water bottle is a good idea either way.
